Greenhouse clamping channels, also known as film clamping channels, galvanized channels, film clamping grooves, greenhouse channels, U-shaped channels, channel clips, dovetail grooves, etc., are used for securing plastic film in greenhouses. Made from hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and processed by equipment rolling, they are high-performance, well-formed, highly wind-resistant, have a smooth surface to prevent film damage, and come in thicknesses of 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm, with a width of 30mm and a height of 12mm. They can accommodate double springs to increase wind resistance, and are available in lengths of 4-6 meters, or can be custom-produced to customer specifications.

Precautions

1. Avoid exceeding the compression limit, as this may cause breakage. Prolonged use at near-maximum compression will gradually cause the spring to compact, increasing the spring constant and raising the load curve, ultimately leading to spring breakage. Therefore, usage should not exceed 300,000 cycles.

2. Gaps can cause vibrations in the spring, leading to twisting. Pre-compression improves stability.

3. Horizontal use can cause wear and tear on the guide pin and spring, potentially leading to breakage.

4. Using the spring with a guide can easily cause twisting at the base and body of the spring. This localized high pressure at the twisted point is a major cause of spring breakage. Therefore, use inner diameter or outer diameter guides.

5. Poor parallelism of the mounting surface can cause spring twisting and localized high pressure, leading to breakage. Parallelism is especially crucial when exceeding 300,000 cycles of use. The mounting surface parallelism cannot be neglected when exceeding 300,000 cycles of use.

6. Very small gaps between the spring and guide pin can cause collision wear, a major cause of spring breakage. Conversely, excessively large gaps can easily cause twisting and breakage. The gap should be approximately the spring inner diameter -1.0mm. For springs with a long free length (free length/outer diameter greater than 4), use a step or guide to avoid collision and twisting between the spring and guide pin.
