Greenhouse clamping channels are one of the main accessories for fixing greenhouse films. Greenhouse film clamping channels and film clips, used in solar greenhouses, single-span plastic greenhouses, multi-span plastic greenhouses, and plastic vegetable greenhouses, utilize a rational internal angle design and self-locking function to ensure the film remains stable on the greenhouse even during strong winds.

Greenhouse clamping channels, also known as film clamping channels, galvanized channels, film pressing channels, greenhouse channels, U-shaped channels, channel clips, dovetail channels, etc., are made from hot-dip galvanized steel plates using equipment rolling. They feature good performance, stable shaping, high wind resistance, and a smooth surface that doesn't damage the greenhouse film. Available thicknesses are 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm; width is 30mm; height is 12mm; can accommodate double springs to increase wind resistance; length is 4-6 meters, or custom lengths can be produced according to customer requirements.

2. Classification: Greenhouse clamping channels are classified into 1.2mm channels, high-zinc layer channels, and aluminum alloy channels.

3. Channel Depth: The greenhouse clamping channel is 11mm deep and can simultaneously accommodate films, nets, and shade nets, or double spring clips.

4. Channel Width: The greenhouse clamping channel is 30mm wide, about 2mm wider than ordinary channels.

Precautions

1. Avoid exceeding the compression limit, as this can cause damage. Prolonged close-fitting use will cause the spring to gradually compress, increasing the spring constant and raising the load curve, potentially leading to spring breakage. Do not exceed 300,000 cycles of use.

2. Gaps can cause up and down vibrations in the spring, leading to twisting. Pre-compression will stabilize the spring.

3. Horizontal use can cause wear and tear on the guide pin and spring, potentially leading to breakage.

4. Use with spring guides can easily lead to twisting at the spring bottom and body. This localized high pressure is a major cause of spring breakage. Use internal or external diameter guides.

5. Poor parallelism of the mounting surface can cause spring twisting and localized high-pressure breakage. Parallelism issues combined with more than 300,000 cycles of use can cause spring breakage. Parallelism cannot be ensured under conditions exceeding 300,000 cycles of use.

6. Very small clearance between the spring and the guide pin can cause wear and tear, a major cause of spring breakage. Conversely, excessive clearance can easily cause twisting and breakage. Ideal clearance is approximately the spring inner diameter - 1.0 mm. For longer springs (free length/outer diameter > 4), use stepped or guided pins to prevent spring twisting and collisions with guide pins.
