Greenhouse clamping channels are one of the main accessories for fixing greenhouse films. Greenhouse film clamping channels and springs, used in solar greenhouses, single-span plastic greenhouses, multi-span plastic greenhouses, and plastic vegetable greenhouses, utilize a rational internal angle design and self-locking function to ensure the film remains secure on the greenhouse even in windy conditions.

Greenhouse clamping channels, also known as film clamping channels, galvanized channels, film pressing channels, greenhouse channels, U-shaped channels, channel clips, dovetail channels, etc., are made from hot-dip galvanized steel sheets using equipment rolling. They are high-performance, well-formed, highly wind-resistant, have a smooth surface to prevent film damage, and come in thicknesses of 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm, with a width of 30mm and a height of 12mm. They can accommodate double springs to increase wind resistance, and have lengths of 4-6 meters, or can be custom-produced to customer specifications.

1. Function: Greenhouse clamping channels are the support structure of the greenhouse, similar to the bones in the human body. They play a role in securing greenhouse films, nets, and shade nets.

2. Classification: Greenhouse clamping channels are classified into 1.2mm channels, high-zinc layer channels, and aluminum alloy channels.

3. Channel Depth: Greenhouse clamping channels are 11mm deep, allowing for simultaneous clamping of films, nets, and shade nets, or direct clamping of double springs.

4. Channel Width: Greenhouse clamping channels are 30mm wide, approximately 2mm wider than ordinary channels.

6. Material: Made from hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, with zinc coating conforming to greenhouse industry standards, ensuring rust resistance for normal use of 5 years.

Precautions

1. Avoid exceeding the compression limit, as this can cause damage. Prolonged use near the maximum compression will cause the spring coils to gradually close, increasing the spring constant and raising the load curve, potentially leading to spring breakage. Therefore, usage should not exceed 300,000 cycles.

2. Gaps can cause up-and-down vibration of the spring, leading to twisting. Pre-compression will stabilize the spring.

3. Horizontal use can cause wear and tear on the guide pin and spring, potentially leading to breakage.

4. When used with spring guides, twisting of the spring bottom and body is easily caused. Local high pressure in the twisted area is a major cause of spring breakage. Therefore, use inner diameter guides or outer diameter guides.

5. Poor parallelism of the mounting surface can cause spring twisting and local high-pressure breakage. In cases of poor parallelism, spring twisting and usage exceeding 300,000 cycles can cause breakage. Parallelism of the mounting surface cannot be guaranteed under conditions exceeding 300,000 cycles of use.

6. Very small gaps between the spring and the guide pin can cause collision wear on the inner diameter, which is a major cause of spring breakage. Conversely, excessively large gaps can easily cause spring twisting and breakage. The gap should be approximately the spring inner diameter - 1.0mm. For springs with longer free lengths (free length/outer diameter > 4), use a stepped guide or guide pin to prevent collision between the twisted spring body and the guide pin.
